Decision on gay priests affects local Lutherans beyond one church leaving
The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America’s decision to allow gay and lesbian priests is having local repercussions beyond St. Peter Lutheran Church, a west Fort Pierce congregation, which voted to leave the denomination, church officials say.
