Nature’s Hideaway: An ELC Naturalist guides you through the Captain Forster Hammock Preserve. It’s a 110-acre ocean-to-river preserve but we’re not going to make you walk all of it!
Nature Nuggets: Slow down time by joining our Naturalist with your child to explore nature one nugget at a time. We?ll stop to smell the flowers, watch a bird hunt its prey, and spy on fish jumping out of the water. All of the time will be spent outdoors exploring what Mother Nature has to offer
“Voted Best Sleepover”: Experience the magic of the night with your friends at ELC’s sleep-over program. A great way to celebrate a birthday, too! Ages 7 -13
Yak Attack: First time kayaker? You’ll like this. It’s a stressless paddle through the shallow water around Wabasso Island. Relax. Enjoy. Age 10 & up
Birds, Boats, Breeding. Be There! A morning pontoon boat tour opens up secrets of the Lagoon and its wildlife. Cruise takes you past Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge and mangrove islands where migrating birds, manatees, and dolphins gather. Age 4 & up
Bat Hour: As Halloween approaches thoughts turn to bats. Come learn why bats are our friends. Activities include stories, videos and crafts. Appropriate for children age 5 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
